Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of Solid (the "Service"), a real-estate investment analysis tool operated by MelonTech ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

Solid lets you search a United States property address and receive estimated property records, value and rent estimates, comparable sales, cash-flow modeling, multi-year projections, and an AI-generated summary. All figures are estimates and projections generated from third-party data and modeling assumptions you can edit.

2. Not Financial, Investment, Legal, or Tax Advice

The Service is provided for informational and research purposes only. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, appraisal, or real-estate brokerage advice, nor an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any property or security. Estimates are not guarantees of value, rent, returns, or future performance. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and should consult qualified professionals before acting. We are not a licensed appraiser, broker, lender, or financial adviser.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. The Service uses Google sign-in (via Firebase Authentication) to create your account. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your Google credentials secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

• Some features require a paid plan. Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, Stripe, on a recurring (monthly or yearly) basis until cancelled.
• By starting a paid plan you authorize recurring charges to your payment method. Prices may change; we will give reasonable notice before a change takes effect.
• You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and partial billing periods are not pro-rated.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• scrape, harvest, resell, or redistribute data obtained through the Service, or use it to build a competing product;
• access the Service through automated means or attempt to exceed, circumvent, or interfere with usage limits, rate limits, or security controls;
• reverse engineer, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Service or its underlying providers; or
• use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

6. Third-Party Data and Services

The Service relies on third-party providers including RentCast (property, value, and rent data), Google Maps Platform (addresses, maps, and imagery), OpenRouter (AI-generated summaries), Firebase (authentication), Stripe (payments), and Amazon Web Services (hosting). Their data and outputs are provided "as is", may be incomplete or inaccurate, and are subject to those providers' own terms. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content or services.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, text, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own internal, non-commercial evaluation of properties. Reports you generate are for your own use; underlying third-party data remains subject to the providers' terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any estimate, data point, or projection is accurate or complete.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or investment losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us and our providers harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

12. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there, except where prohibited by applicable law.
