Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Solid (the "Service"), operated by MelonTech ("we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Google (via Firebase Authentication) we receive your name, email address, profile photo, and a unique user identifier.
• Usage and search data. The property addresses you search, the deal assumptions you enter, and the analyses you generate. We store search history associated with your account and may log usage events (such as the number of analyses run) to enforce plan limits and improve the Service.
• Payment information. If you subscribe, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details; Stripe handles payment data under its own privacy policy, and we receive limited information such as your subscription status.
• Feedback. If you submit feedback or contact us through the Service, we collect the information you provide (such as your name, email, and message).
• Technical data. Basic technical information needed to operate and secure the Service, such as request metadata handled by our hosting and content-delivery infrastructure.

2. How We Use Information

• to provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
• to generate property analyses, reports, and AI summaries you request;
• to authenticate you, manage your account, and enforce plan and usage limits;
• to process subscriptions and payments;
• to respond to your feedback and support requests, and to improve and secure the Service.

3. Third-Party Services and Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the Service:

• Google / Firebase — authentication and sign-in.
• RentCast — property, value, and rent data. The address you search is sent to RentCast to retrieve records.
• Google Maps Platform — address autocomplete, maps, and Street View imagery.
• OpenRouter — AI-generated summaries. Analysis context (such as property and financial figures) is sent to generate the summary.
• Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions.
• Amazon Web Services — hosting, storage, and content delivery.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

4. Data Storage and Retention

Account, subscription, search-history, and usage data are stored in our cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services) in the United States. To speed up repeat lookups, assembled property data is cached for a limited period (currently about 15 days) and refreshed thereafter. We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

The Service uses browser storage and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information, including encrypted transport and storing API credentials in a managed secrets service rather than in the application. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, or to delete your account and associated data, contact us at melontech.ai@gmail.com. You can also stop using the Service and revoke Google sign-in access at any time.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Users

The Service is operated in the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
